Attractions worth visiting in Singapore (Sorted by rating)

Universal Studios Singapore (Sentosa) - 9.1

From Jurassic World to The Mummy, from Madagascar to the Transformers, do I need to say anything more? The best childhood memory of yours located right in one place for you to cherish & enjoy along with 4D visualization, gut-wrenching rides, and oh! The PARADE!! I had happy tears in my eye at the end of it.

Gardens By The Bay - 8.8

The iconic Gardens by the Bay represent Singapore's theme of "The city within the gardens". Do not get fooled thinking "garden" as a short patch of greenery. Singapore administration has built gigantic forests, parks, gardens and "Gardens by the bay" symbolizes the craftsmanship among all. You will find the supertree grooves - vase like structures made out of steel and connected through hanging pathway on which you can take a walk and enjoy the grooves nurtured on it. Once it gets dark, it will surprise you with the embedded light works.

Flower Dome - Here, you will see two white dome-like structures. One of them called the flower dome. If you are aesthete to different kind of flowers and orchids, this place is heaven for you. Restricted within a gigantic glass dome it is one of the largest greenhouse gardens.

Cloud Forest - Adjacent to it, there is another scenic flora and fauna marvel called cloud forest. Bearing literary to its name, this forest has kind of its own climate. A waterfall, a pond, and a vast spread tropical shrubs create its own cloud and pleasant breeze.

You can choose supertree groove to roam free or pay for the deck visit. However, admission to flower dome and cloud forest mandates tickets. The price for these two are little on the higher side but worth a visit.

NeWater Visitor Center - 8.2

The Center is an initiative from PUB (Singapore's National Water Agency) to facilitate students/tourists with interactive tours & workshops. The water molecule treatment, UV technologies for reusing sewage/industrial/dirty water is something that every country should start exploring for their own water treatment. Post the tour, you will have one more good reason to fall in love with Singapore. Advance booking is recommended.

Chinese Garden - 8.2 (Cycling allowed)

I could not muster enough strength to visit this beautiful Garden. I was weak due to lack of sleep. When I did visit this place, all my tiredness went away & I was at peace. This garden was built around 1975 modeled after the Sung Dynasty and it's a 13.5 hectare foliage. The Chinese pagoda, bridges, the bonsai trees here all will have a calming effect on you.

Night Safari - 8.2

If you are coming here with children, they will love it. Being a child from heart, it was naturally a joyful experience for us. ;-) There are two special shows Thumbuakar performance & Creatures of the Night which have schedules posted on its website starting from 6.45 PM till the last show at 10/10.30 PM. More than the free shuttle ride, we enjoyed the two performances. Especially "Creatures of the night", where they have the nocturnal animals depicting their natural behaviors through storytelling by a super cool host. Some of the animals will pass through you while you are sitting as an audience !! But don't worry you are safe till you listen to all the instructions from the host and refrain from being an unnecessary enthusiast. :)

P.S: You will not find buses after 9.30 PM. Schedule your plan accordingly or of course hail a taxi which is always a comfortable option at night.
